Anita Moon-Grady, MD

Dr. Anita Moon-Grady, director of the Fetal Cardiovascular Program at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital, specializes in pediatric cardiology and neonatal and perinatal medicine. She has expertise in pediatric and fetal echocardiography, with research interests in diastolic dysfunction and fetal cardiovascular assessment. Currently, Moon-Grady is researching non-invasive imaging modalities for investigating normal and abnormal cardiac function in patients with congenital heart disease.
Moon-Grady is the recipient of the Stanford University Dean's Award for Research, the UC Davis Medical Center Department of Pediatrics Award for Outstanding Contribution to Education of Housestaff, Award for Excellence in Neonatology and the Eli Gold Award for Excellence in Clinical Medicine. She is a member of the American Society of Echocardiography, the Society of Pediatric Echocardiography and the American Medical Association. She has been elected fellow of the American College of Cardiology and fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Currently, Moon-Grady holds a joint appointment as assistant professor of pediatrics at UCSF and UC Davis. She also serves as the director of Pediatric and Fetal Echocardiography at UC Davis.
