Dr. Aparajita Singh is a gastroenterologist with special interests in colon cancer prevention, high-quality colonoscopy and polyp removal. As director of UCSF's gastrointestinal cancer prevention program, she draws on her expertise in caring for patients with a family history of gastrointestinal cancer, including those with Lynch syndrome (which increases colon cancer risk) or familial adenomatous polyposis (an inherited condition causing polyps in the large intestine).
