Cardiologist

Jie Yang, MD

Dr. Jie Yang is a cardiologist who cares for adult patients. She has a broad range of interests, including preventive care, heart valve disease, cardiomyopathy (heart muscle disease that can lead to heart failure) and pericardial disease (inflammation of the tissue surrounding the heart). She is especially interested in cardiovascular disease in women.

Yang earned her medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She completed a residency in internal medicine at California Pacific Medical Center. She completed fellowships in echocardiography (ultrasound for the heart) at UCSF, cardiovascular medicine at California Pacific Medical Center and advanced heart failure at the University of Southern California.
