Karen Chee, MD

Dr. Karen Chee is a hematologist and oncologist who provides general cancer care while also specializing in cancers of the gastrointestinal organs and hematologic benign and malignant disorders.

Chee's research focuses on developing treatments for a variety of neoplasms (abnormal growths that may be cancerous). She has authored and co-authored multiple papers on the topic.

Chee earned her medical degree at the University of California, Davis, where she also completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology and oncology.

Chee is a member of the American Medical Association, California Medical Association, American College of Physicians, American Society of Hematology and American Society of Clinical Oncology.

Chee plays seven musical instruments and is an avid and intrepid traveler, despite having once been attacked by a monkey on a trip to China.
